Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 egg
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 2 ½ Tablespoons sugar
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons yeast
Steps
- Add liquid ingredients to your bread machine. Then add the flour and salt. Make a small crater and add the yeast in the middle.
- Set the bread machine to basic bread and light crust.
- This makes a 2lb loaf.
Story
We tried a variation on this yummy recipe from Bread Machine Diva during quarantine. Since our bread has been turning out a little, dry we made some variations, and added a full cup of pineapple juice! How can you get too much pineapple?
The juice from one can of pineapple chunks was the perfect amount.
As a bonus recipe, we used the pineapple chunks in our food dehydrator coated in a bit of granular sugar and dried overnight. We put a couple teaspoons of sugar in a bag and shook the chunks to coat them. Dried pineapple makes a great snack!
